Leadership
Mr. Clark graduated from Utah State University with a BA in Accounting. Upon graduation he joined KPMG in Seattle, WA where he worked in their audit and small business advisory practice. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He was the V.P. of Finance from 1984 to 1986 for the Cascade Funds and Rainier Partners, investment funds specializing in Risk Arbitrage. From 1986 to 1990 he was the CFO of the Genesee Funds, multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund of funds. He started J D Clark & Company in January 1991.
Jeff is also active in community service as a Board Member of the Weber Foundation where he Chairs its Business Development Committee. He is also the Chairman of the Utah Junior Miss Board of Directors and a Board Member of Habitat for Humanity in Ogden, Utah.
Jerry holds a minor in Personal Financial Planning, a Bachelors in Accounting, and a Masters of Business Administration from Utah State University. Jerry is also a Certified Public Accountant. He worked for Thiokol and H&R Block prior to joining J D Clark & Company in January of 2001.
Michelle received her Associates Degree in Accounting from BYU-Idaho. Upon graduation, she joined Coopers & Lybrand, LLP, where she was a tax associate and a member of the audit staff from 1988 through 1993. Michelle joined J D Clark & Company in October of 1993.
Chad earned his Associates degree in Economics from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 1992 and his Bachelors degree in Accounting from the top-tier accounting program of BYU-Provo in 1997. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Nevada. Chad worked for Deloitte & Touché as a Senior Associate in the Assurance and Advisory department until 1999. He then worked for KPMG as a Senior Auditor until he joined J D Clark & Company in 2000.
Jill holds a minor in Mathematics, a Bachelor of Science, and a Masters in Accounting from Weber State University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. She worked for KPMG Peat Marwick from June 1997 through December 1998 and joined J D Clark & Company in January 1999. Jill is currently serving on the Board of Directors as Secretary for the Snowbasin Ski Education Foundation.
Troy earned two Bachelor degrees from the University of Utah and an MBA from Westminster College. He also received his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Troy brought 13 years of Human Resources experience when he joined J D Clark & Company in July 2008.
Spencer Erickson earned both a Bachelors and a Masters of Accounting with a tax emphasis from Utah State University and is a licensed CPA. After gaining experience in individual and partnership taxation at H&R Block and at Dursteller and Associates he joined the tax department at J D Clark & Company in 2006.
Richard Outridge joined UMB Fund Services in September 2008 and is the Senior Vice President and Director for Alternative Investment Accounting and Administration. In January 2010, Richard was promoted to Chief Operations Officer of J D Clark & Company.
Prior to joining GlobeOp, Richard spent four years as the Chief Financial Officer for Refco Capital Markets where he oversaw the accounting of the principal trading and brokerage activities of the firm. Prior to joining Refco, Richard spent over eleven years at Svenska Handelsbanken as a Risk Manager and Controller both in New York and London.
Richard graduated “with distinction” from Manchester Business School with a Masters of Business Administration in Finance.
